Old Mourvèdre – October 2005 – Last Day of our First Harvest at La Pèira (Terrasses du Larzac) fro the Matissat cuvee

“Age appears to be best in four things; old wood best to burn, old wine to drink, old friends to trust, and old authors to read.”
Francis Bacon

On this October day, our thoughts turn back to our first harvest in 2005 at our old chai near Aniane.

The video below shows the  last day of the Mourvèdre harvest on the Bois de Pauliau at La Pèira in the Terrasses du Larzac.
